1. iRobot Roomba i3+ EVO
The iRobot Roomba i3+ is a fantastic robot vacuum that comes with several smart features that make it easier to maintain. Its automatic bin emptying is among the most useful features we've seen on an iRobot and it's compatible with hard floors as well as carpets. It's also simple to install and use, with the app guiding you step-by-step through the process. Its ability to resumptuate where it left off in our tests is another impressive feature. It did this for 77 minute on one cleaning, before the battery ran out.
The i3+ EVO is different from the other robot vacuums we tested comes with a self-emptying bin that automatically disposes of debris into an external dirt container on its charging base once it's full. This helps reduce the need for hands-on maintenance and helps keep the i3+ EVO from overfilling, but it must be manually emptied after every cleaning session. The i3+ EVO dustbin can hold 2.4L which is enough to last through four to five cleaning sessions.
The i3+ EVO, just like the i7, uses cutting-edge floor-tracking sensors to produce maps. It can also allow you to navigate in neat rows. However, the i3+ EVO only stores a single map while the i7 has the capacity to store multiple maps. The map of the i7 can be used to create virtual barriers and no-go zones but not for the i3+ EVO.
The i3+ EVO does a better job of picking up surface debris when compared to other robovacs we've examined, but it's not the best in cleaning edges and corners. It's also a bit less gentle on furniture, despite being relatively quiet. It was quite rough on furniture, as it pushed chairs away. It also made some collisions with the sides of the test bed.
2. Black & Decker Q5 Pro
Whether you're expanding your collection of robot vacuums, or are just starting out, the Q5 Pro is a great choice. It offers an elegant design with powerful navigation and useful automation at a reasonable cost. It's the most affordable model for the money you can get right now and even beats some Roborock models that are more expensive in a variety of ways.
This robot does an excellent job of cleaning floors with no dust and its avoidance system helps it steer clear of furniture legs and other obstacles. It also does well on carpets and scores a high score for our tests of navigation. The only drawback is that it's louder than other models and doesn't do better in our user-satisfaction and predicted reliability tests.
The Q5 Pro comes with a large dust bin of 770ml. This means you won't have to empty it as often as other 2-in-1 robots. The Q5 Pro's 240-minute run time is also a lot when compared to other 2-in-1 robots that we tested. When the battery is low, it returns to its dock and recharges, before starting cleaning where it left off. You can control the Q5 Pro using the app or voice commands with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
This is among the first robots we've seen incorporate 3D mapping. This, in conjunction with other innovations, helps it excel in our vacuuming and mopping tests. You can schedule cleanings and create no-go zones. You can also see the battery status. The app is simple to use, though it doesn't support Apple HomeKit; that feature is slated to be added by 2025. Apple changed its footnote on its website in the beginning of November to reflect the fact that this feature has been delayed until 2025. Some other robots won't work with HomeKit however, a lot of them are compatible with Siri Shortcuts.

The Tapo RV30 Plus TP-Link robot vacuum cleaner is a fantastic option if you're searching for a machine that can also mop and is reasonably priced. And the well-designed base station almost fully automates the cleaning process. It also provides impressive obstacle avoidance and navigation.
This model makes use of an internal dToF LiDAR sensor to map your home, creating efficient cleaning routes. The iMop awed us with its assessment of the effectiveness of navigation and coverage, and it was very good at getting around obstacles, such as furniture. It also finds its way back to the base station if it runs out of batteries during a cleaning session.
It also comes with a spot cleaning mode that allows you to mop or clean a specific area of your floor. And it can be manually programmed to follow a fixed path, which is beneficial for narrow staircases or hallways. In our carpet cleaning test it was successful in cleaning carpets. However, it was unable to clean carpets and rugs with thick piles. It can also be set to automatically raise the mop pad when it encounters carpet, which is a fantastic feature to avoid mopping your carpets.
The iMop features an onboard dust bin as well as a water tank that it is filled and refilled at the end of each cleaning session. The dust bin can hold up to 2.5 Liters and only has to be emptied every two cleaning cycles. The water tank is capable of handling half a dozen mopping session before it is empty.
